SALES CONTRACT

 

 

The Seller, Katherine Mc Linden, and the Buyer, _________________________ hereby agree as follows:

 

1. The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer, for the amount of $____________, payment of which is hereby acknowledged, a

2. A Deposit of $250.00 has been received and is deducted from the final payment.

 

3. All funds must clear 1 week before delivery of the puppy.

 

____   A.  Limited Registration, Never to be used for breeding purposes and to be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age.

 

____   B.  Full AKC Registration, The puppy seems to be of breeding/show quality at the time of purchase. 

 

The Puppy is sold as PET QUALITY ONLY.  The breeder does not guarantee that the puppy purchased will be successful in breeding / show programs. 

 

Full AKC registration gives the buyer the right to breed/show the puppy purchased when it becomes of breeding / show age.  The Seller highly recommends that when the puppy is breeding age, it be examined by a Veterinarian, to be determined if the dog is of good enough health and quality to whelp or sire puppies.

 

 The Seller will register the puppy with AKC and will provide the application papers to the Buyer.  If the registration application was not supplied at the time of purchase, they will be mailed as soon as the seller receives them from AKC.

 

The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health on the date of purchase/delivery.  The Buyer has 72 hours to have the puppy checked by a Veterinarian of their choice.  If your Veterinarian finds anything genetically wrong with the puppy you may return the puppy along with the Veterinarian statement for a full refund or a replacement puppy.  Please note that the Seller is not responsible for any Veterinarian / shipping costs.

 

The Seller guarantees the puppy for the term of 1 year against life threatening genetic defects and will replace the puppy after receiving a full Veterinarian report stating the exact defect.  In the event of the puppies death a necropsy must be preformed to determine the cause of death.  This guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia, a condition that can be caused by stress, missing meals, excessive playing or exercise. Buyer has been fully informed about this condition, it causes and treatments. 

 

The Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization and worming schedule, heart worm preventative, good diet, and clean and safe environment.

 

If at any time in its life, the puppy is to be sold or given away, the Buyer shall give the Seller first option to buy the puppy back at a cost to be determined by both parties.
